The present meditation is a result of an in-depth study of the textual opus and literary expression of two 16th century writers who, despite their different origins, chose Slavic languages as form of their personal expression. Because of this, their terminology offers a basis for understanding of the broader cultural-historical context of their time, i.e. the European Renaissance.
